Graduate in Law and CC.EE. Business Studies from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE. PMD from Harvard Business School. Singularity University Executive Program.
Since 1989, he has developed his professional activity in the financial sector (banking and insurance) where he has held various positions of responsibility, such as, Chief Financial & Risk Officer and member of the Management Committee at Bankinter, and General Director of Finance and Health in Direct Line Insurance. He is professor of Corporate Finance at the Faculty of Business Economic Sciences of the Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Harvard Club of Spain, a member of the Executive Committee of the ICADE Business Club, a member and President of the International Advisory Council of the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Universidad Pontificia Comillas-ICADE, and vice president of the Forum of Forums Foundation – Foro de Encuentros.
He is currently an independent director and president of the Audit and Risk Committee of Allfunds Bank S.A.E. and Allfunds Group plc.
